Lesley Zimmerman is a successful independent music publicist and has track record that speaks
volumes about her experience and tenure in the music business.
She successfully runs her own company Lesley Z Media, which offers public relations, media
training, licensing, artist management and special events.
Before that, she was the Senior Account Executive at the Mitch Schneider Organization (MSO).
Lesley has spearheaded all-encompassing PR plans and acted as lead publicist for such artists as
Alanis Morissette, Stone Temple Pilots, Duran Duran, the Offspring, Faith No More, The The, Robert
Palmer, KISS, Masters of Reality, Dig, LeAnn Rimes, Sheena Easton, David Bowie's Tin Machine, Paul
Rodgers, Robert Palmer, Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa, the Lunachicks, Delicious Vinyl Records and their
artists, such as The Brand New Heavies, Masters of Reality, Tone Loc, Young MC; Crash Test Dummies, Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Zoo Records and their
artists, to name a few.
In addition to music PR, Lesley also regularly does PR for many red carpet special events,
including a huge benefit which included guests such as Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, Camp Freddy, Scott
Weiland, Brittany Murphy, Mila Kunis, Nick Lachey, Lance Bass, McCauley Culkin, James Van der Beek and many others.
Lesley is also a professional media trainer, most recently coaching An-Ya, an artist on Joe Simpson's label (Jessica and Ashlee's father/manager), Christian TV (Motown Records/19 Entertainment
Mgmt.), Dev (Universal Republic), Avery (Motown/Universal), Damato (Motown/Universal) and Lloyd (Motown/Universal).
